Collin Morikawa ended a lengthy victory drought last weekend, capturing the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am for his first PGA Tour win since 2023.

The two-time major champion closed with a clutch 5-under 67 on Sunday at Pebble Beach Golf Links, finishing at 22-under par (266 total) to edge Min Woo Lee and Sepp Straka by one stroke (both at 21-under).

Morikawa’s dramatic finish included back-to-back birdies late to seize control, capped by a stunning 4-iron approach from 235 yards on the iconic par-5 18th — starting it over the ocean wall and letting the wind guide it back — leading to a two-putt birdie from the collar to seal the deal.

The 29-year-old California native entered the final round two shots back but surged with key birdies, including a 30-footer on 15 and an 8-footer on 16, while holding off late charges from contenders like Scottie Scheffler (who fired a brilliant 63 to finish strong but tied for fourth).

“Iconic venue,” said Morikawa, when asked what the win means.

“I think growing up you think about the majors, and you have this separate list of golf courses that you just want to go play as a kid and just go play when you turn professional. I would say Pebble Beach is exactly on top of that list. Just so much history, very iconic, like I said, and probably one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to in the world.

“Watching year after year, last couple years of coming here, watching those guys hoist the trophy walking down 18, you want to be in that position.

“This is my second ever start as a pro at the U.S. Open out here, so just good memories going all the way back there. Overall, just thrilled with how this week played out.”

This marked Morikawa’s seventh PGA Tour title overall and his first signature event win. Adding to the personal joy, he announced post-round that he and his wife Katherine are expecting their first child. It was a big momentum boost for the former Cal star on the Tour’s most scenic stages.
