Here’s a round-up of photos from each of Tiger’s five Green Jacket presentations:

1997: Tiger’s Maiden Major

Tiger won his first major championship, 12 strokes clear of runner-up Tom Kite. It stands as the largest margin of victory, while the four-day score of 270 (−18) are tournament co-records. Woods also became both the youngest (21) and the first non-white player to win at Augusta.

2001: Tiger’s Own Slam

Woods (-18) edged David Duval by two strokes to complete the “Tiger Slam.” Woods held all four major titles at the same time – having won the previous year’s (2000) U.S. Open, Open Championship, and PGA Championship. This was also the first major to award a seven-figure winner’s share ($1.08M).

2001: Tiger Goes Back-to-Back

Tiger won his third Masters, and second consecutive, with a score of 276 (−12), three strokes ahead of runner-up Retief Goosen. It was only the third successful defense of a Masters title, previously accomplished in 1966 by Jack Nicklaus and 1990 by Nick Faldo.

2005: Tiger Ties Arnold

Tiger won his fourth green jacket in a one-hole playoff with Chris DiMarco, after both players finished 12-under par. It was the ninth of Woods’ fifteen major championships, while tying Arnold Palmer for the second most Masters titles at just 29.

2019: 14 Years Later, Tiger Wins a Fifth

At the age of 43, a rebuilt (mentally and physically) Woods ended an 11 year major drought to capture his fifth green jacket – some 14 years after his fourth – by edging a trio of players by one shot.
