The travel options are plentiful for golfers scanning the Internet for the best deals and best places to visit this year, and if there’s one common element among avid golfers it’s to book a destination to play where the pros play.

With that requirement in mind we may have the answer: Innisbrook Resort, the home venue for next week’s Valspar Championship.

Located 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, the resort features 72 holes of championship golf, spacious condo-style guest suites and rooms, four restaurants and three bars, the Innisbrook Golf Institute, 11 tennis courts, the Salamander Spa and state-of-the-art Fitness Center, six heated swimming pool complexes, a nature preserve, and three conference halls with 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.

The resort recently completed extensive upgrades to the interior of its executive-, one- and two-bedroom condo-style suites to feature an appealing and modern look. Each unit will be completely refreshed to receive all new furniture, furnishings, flooring, stainless-steel appliances, quartz counters, cabinets, lighting, draperies and more. The resort’s condo-style accommodations feature complete kitchens and private balconies overlooking the golf courses and rolling landscape.

“Innisbrook has been a revered destination for golfers, families and conference groups for 50 years, and the upgrades made to our accommodations have already received rave reviews,” said Managing Director Mike Williams. “These improvements are just another testament to our commitment to delivering a superior guest experience.”

Innisbrook’s suites, which are located in low-rise lodge buildings, have retained their unique exterior design. They are intended to blend into the property’s 900 wooded acres through the use of a “back-to-nature” style of architecture, and the buildings deliberately sit below the treetops to offer a sense of seclusion for the guest.

When Innisbrook opened in 1970, the Tampa Bay area property quickly vaulted into the echelons of the country’s finest golf resorts, and has remained there ever since.

Guests can experience the freshly remodeled suites through a variety of offers including select value date that are perfect for both the leisure and business traveler, golf packages, or one of the resort’s meeting package specials for groups and special events.

Innisbrook Resort currently offers three golf packages, each with accommodations and breakfast: Classic, Platinum, and Diamond.
