Winner’s Circle: Scottie Scheffler Claims Maiden Major at The 2022 Masters

Even with a meaningless double bogey on the final hole, Scottie Scheffler produced a 71 to finish on 10-under par, good for a three-shot victory at the 2022 Masters Tournament.

The 25-year-old Texan’s day was headlined by four birdies, including a highlight-reel chip-in on the par-4 third hole.

Scheffler has now won four times in his last six starts – 59 days in all – and is now a major champion.

For securing his maiden major title, the 2021 Ryder Cup star earned $2,700,000, 600 FedExCup points, and 100 world-ranking points. Not to mention a place in the history books.
