Scottie Scheffler produced a final-round 72 to claim a one-shot victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

On a brutal day at Bay Hill, the 25-year-old Texan offset three bogeys with a trio of birdies to post a four-round total of 5-under 283.

Following his maiden win at Phoenix last month, Scheffler has now won twice in his last three starts. The Ryder Cup star earned $2,160,000, 550 FedExCup points and 64 world-ranking points. He will move to No. 5 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
