If Tuesday night’s Ryder Cup Welcome Dinner at the opulent Hempstead House is any indication, the battle at Bethpage Black is about to get a whole lot fiercer, and a whole lot more fabulous. With the 2025 Ryder Cup kicking off Friday, Team USA and Team Europe traded their polos for tuxes as players, captains, and their glamorous partners turned the Long Island mansion into a red-carpet runway.
Amid crystal chandeliers and a regal decor, the evening was a masterclass in pre-match pomp: heartfelt toasts, light-hearted banter, and outfits that had social media buzzing louder than a Sunday singles putt.

Europe arrived ready to defend their crown in full sartorial splendor. Rory McIlroy and wife Erica Stoll led the charge, with Rory in a sharp navy suit and Erica stunning in an emerald green gown that nodded to her Irish roots — elegant, effortless, and utterly on point.
Justin Rose’s wife Kate turned heads in a sleek black number, while Shane Lowry played the ultimate gentleman, adjusting wife Wendy Lowry’s earring before their group photo, proving chivalry isn’t dead on the fairways.
Captain Luke Donald and the Euros set the bar high, with fans already crowing that their polished looks foreshadow a stylish victory.
Team USA? They brought the swagger and sparked a fashion debate that’s still raging online. Scottie Scheffler, the world No. 1, rolled up sans tie, sneakers peeking from under his suit, arm-in-arm with wife Meredith in a classic red dress that screamed timeless chic.
Collin Morikawa matched that vibe, escorting Katherine Morikawa in a shimmering dress, while Bryson DeChambeau’s bold energy paired perfectly with his partner’s vibrant ensemble.
As the night wound down with group photos and champagne flutes, the air hummed with that familiar mix of rivalry and respect — Europe eyeing a repeat, USA hungry for revenge on home soil.
