The 2022–23 PGA Tour is the 108th season of the “tour,” and the 56th since separating from the PGA of America. This will be the final season that includes a wrap around portion (splitting its play across two calendar years). But for 2022-23 the fall portion remains and begins September 15, 2022 in Napa, while concluding in Georgia at Sea Island. The 2023 portion of the season resumes in January with the two-stop Aloha Swing, concluding in August with the FeEx Cup playoffs.
Starting next season the tour will have no wrap around portion, instead beginning its season in January and ending in August.
This season will also feature a series of 12 elevated tournaments with massive purses and huge first-place checks. The elite dozen are: Kapalua, Phoenix, Riviera, Dell Match Play, Bay Hill, Hilton Head, The Players, Quail Hollow, the Memorial, the Travelers, Memphis and the BMW.
