In a landmark expansion of its digital footprint, Augusta National Golf Club announced Tuesday that Amazon Prime Video will join ESPN and CBS as a domestic broadcast partner for the 2026 Masters Tournament, streaming two exclusive hours of first- and second-round coverage. The move adds four hours of live content over the two days, boosting total broadcast time to 27 hours — a 50% increase from 2024.
Prime Video will air the action from 1-3 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10, at Augusta National, seamlessly leading into ESPN’s afternoon coverage from 3-7:30 p.m. ET.
Weekend broadcasts remain with CBS from 2-7 p.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday, April 11-12, preceded by Paramount+ streams from noon-2 p.m. ET.
“We are proud of our longstanding partnerships with CBS Sports and ESPN, who have set the highest standard for broadcast coverage of the Masters,” said Masters Chairman Fred Ridley. “The addition of Amazon will only further our abilities to expand and enhance how the Tournament is presented and enjoyed.”
Jay Marine, head of Prime Video for U.S. and Global Sports, called it an honor: “It’s an exciting opportunity for the Masters Tournament and its fans.” This marks the first time a major tech streamer like Amazon has partnered with the storied event, which began TV coverage in 1956 via CBS and added ESPN for early rounds in 2008. Further details, including announcers, will be revealed closer to the April 6-12 tournament week.
