Alex Noren captured the 2025 Betfred British Masters at The Belfry, ending a seven-year DP World Tour title drought with a one-shot victory.
The 43-year-old Swede fired a final-round 5-under 67, finishing at 16-under to edge out Denmark’s Nicolai Hojgaard and New Zealand’s Kazuma Kobori, who tied for second at 15-under.
Noren’s late surge, with a hat trick of birdies on Nos. 15, 16, and 17, was sealed with a clutch 7-foot bogey putt on the 18th, marking his 11th DP World Tour win and second British Masters title.

Meanwhile, Denmark’s Rasmus Hojgaard clinched the final automatic spot on Europe’s Ryder Cup team with a T13 finish at 8-under, carding a 1-under 71 in a nerve-wracking final round.
Needing a top-29 finish to surpass Shane Lowry, Hojgaard overcame four bogeys with a crucial birdie on the par-5 15th, earning his Ryder Cup debut at Bethpage Black next month.
“I’ve been so stressed out,” Hojgaard said, visibly relieved after a call from captain Luke Donald confirming his spot.
