In a shocking turn of events at the Amundi Evian Championship, LPGA star Charley Hull was forced to withdraw during the first round after collapsing twice on the 4th tee.
Hull reportedly appeared wobbly on the prior hole (No.3) and fell while trying to get out of a greenside bunker.
The 29-year-old, ranked No. 19 in the world and one of the LPGA’s most popular stars, was reportedly battling a virus, which led to a collapse after hitting her tee shot minutes later.
After going down, the Englishwoman received immediate medical attention, and officials permitted the trailing group to play through while tending to her.
Following a 15-minute break while receiving treatment, Hull hit another tee shot but collapsed again and was eventually stretchered off the course.
Hull was even par through 12 holes.
