Dan Bradbury shot a flawless final-round 66 to emerge from a bunched-up leaderboard and claim victory at the 2024 FedEx Open de France.

Playing in the penultimate group, the Englishman finished his final day at Le Golf National with five birdies, highlighted by three straight gains on Nos. 14, 15 and 16 to secure the solo lead on 16 under.

Bradbury celebrated his par finish on the last and then watched from the scorers’ tent as Thorbjorn Olesen (68) and Sam Bairstow (68) failed to birdie 18 to finish one back, where they were tied with Jeff Winther (64) and Yannik Paul (66).

“Yeah, I remember looking at one point and obviously playing with Joe [Dean] and Gunner [Wiebe], I was second, and they were like 14th, and I was thinking, don’t drop a few,” said Bradbury.

“It was just like, stay in, it and I mean, we all know the finish around here, anything can happen and it almost did.”

With his second career victory, Bradbury secured a spot in the season-ending doubleheader in the UAE: Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

“I guess I’ll be looking at flights to Dubai then!,” joked Bradbury.

Jesper Svensson, who held at least a share of the lead after each of the opening three rounds, struggled to a 5-over 76 and plummeted to a T27 finish on 8 under.
