Jon Rahm and his Legion XIII team clinched the 2025 LIV Golf Team Championship at The Cardinal at Saint John’s, edging out Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC in a thrilling two-hole playoff.
Legion XIII rallied from a five-shot deficit to tie the Crushers at 20-under in stroke play, with Rahm (65) and Tyrrell Hatton (66) birdieing the final two holes of regulation to force extra holes.
In the playoff, both teams tied on the first extra hole, highlighted by DeChambeau’s lengthy birdie putt. Rahm and Hatton, though, delivered clutch birdies on the second overtime hole, while DeChambeau (62) and Paul Casey (65) faltered – Casey’s long putt missed and DeChambeau’s chip landed wide.

Caleb Surratt’s 64 and Tom McKibbin’s 65 bolstered Legion XIII’s effort, securing the $14 million first-place prize, with each player earning $1.4 million.
The Crushers, led by DeChambeau’s stellar eight-birdie round, took home $8 million as runners-up, while Stinger GC finished third at 12-under.
“Tyrrell and I got it going late, but better late than never,” Rahm said, celebrating his team’s fourth title of the season and his second straight LIV Golf championship week after winning the individual points title in Indianapolis.
