Australia’s Minjee Lee has been named the 2025 Rolex Annika Major Award winner, recognized as the LPGA Tour’s top performer in women’s majors this season.

The announcement was made following the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl, where Lee’s consistent excellence across the five majors secured her the prestigious honor for the second time in her career.

Lee, 29, amassed 78 points in the Rolex Annika Major Award standings, edging out Chevron Championship winner Mao Saigo by four points. Her season was highlighted by a victory at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, her third career major, and a T3 finish at the Amundi Evian Championship. The Aussie also posted a T13 at the AIG Women’s Open with a final-round even-par 72, rounding out a campaign that included two top-20 finishes in the other majors.

“From where I was at the start of the year, winning KPMG and having strong finishes… I’m going to say I’ve done pretty well,” Lee said post-round.

The Perth native, who also won the award in 2022 after her U.S. Women’s Open triumph, becomes the first two-time recipient since the award’s inception in 2014. Her resurgence, credited to a switch to a long putter, ended a winless drought since 2023 and solidified her as a major championship force.

Lee’s brother, Min Woo, celebrated her achievement on social media, calling her a “robot” and “master of the game.”

The Rolex Annika Major Award, which requires a major victory for eligibility, awards points for top-10 finishes in the LPGA’s five majors. Lee will be honored at the Rolex LPGA Awards during the CME Group Tour Championship in November.

With three majors and a Greg Norman Medal to her name, Lee’s 2025 season cements her legacy as one of Australia’s golfing greats.
