2023 Ryder Cup: Team USA Player Capsules

The 44th Ryder Cup will be contested in Rome, Italy at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club. The venue has previously hosted the Italian Open.

Here is the twelve-man American team and a brief introduction to what each of them bring to this year’s Ryder Cup Matches. Similar to the European team, it is a combination of rookies and veterans who have all distinguished themselves as the best Europe has to offer for this biennial event.

Although a Ryder Cup rookie, the 36-year-old has plenty of match play experience. In 2005 he was the youngest American to ever make the 10-man US Walker Cup team. Harman followed that with a second Walker Cup in 2009. The US won both of those cups.

Thomas will be appearing for his third consecutive Ryder Cup. This two-time major winner and 15-time PGA Tour champion has certainly been the center of a number of conversations leading up to being picked for this year’s U.S. team.
