On Sunday in Arizona, Scottie Scheffler produced a 6-under 65 to claim a two-shot victory over Nick Taylor (65) at the 2023 WM Phoenix Open.
The 26-year-old Texan finished his final day at TPC Scottsdale with one eagle, four birdies and 13 pars to reach 19 under.
With the win, Scheffler earned $3,600,000 and 500 FedEx Cup points to move to No. 2 on the tour’s money list. He also picked up 62 OWGR points to jump back to No. 1, knocking Rory McIlroy off the top branch.
