The LIV Golf League 2024 features 13 teams comprised of four players competing over a 14-event schedule, with players and teams competing simultaneously for both points and prize money.

Tournaments consist of 54-hole stroke play, no cuts and shotgun starts, ensuring a faster and more exciting pace of play.

Captains: Each team has a captain while members of the four-player teams, including the captain, participate in the three-day tournament.

Individual Winner: The player with the lowest 54-hole stroke play total is the winner. At the season’s end, the player with the most ranking points will be named the season’s Individual Champion.

Team Competition: Over the first two rounds, the best three stroke play scores will count for each team. For the third and final round, all four scores will count. The lowest overall team score after 54 holes is the team winner. The final event of the season is the team championship.

The historic Las Vegas Country Club, the host venue of the LIV Golf Las Vegas, was established in 1967 by former Boston Celtics owner Marvin Kratter. Located just six miles away from Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium, LVCC was built on the site of a 1950s horse and automobile racetrack named the Las Vegas Park Speedway.

Initially designed by Edmund Ault, LVCC was later reconstructed by Ron Garl who brought water into play, delivering more challenge and beauty, alongside its rolling fairways, well-manicured greens and acres of olive trees. The course features bent grass greens and hybrid Bermuda fairways.

The venue served as the host course for the PGA Tour’s Las Vegas Invitational (now titled the Shriners) between 1983 and 1991. It also hosted the LPGA Takefuji Classic on the LPGA Tour from 2003 to 2006. PGA Tour champions at LVCC include Greg Norman, Curtis Strange, Paul Azinger, and Fuzzy Zoeller.
