Tournaments consist of 54-hole stroke play, no cuts and shotgun starts, ensuring a faster and more exciting pace of play.

Captains: Each team has a captain while members of the four-player teams, including the captain, participate in the three-day tournament.

Individual Winner: The player with the lowest 54-hole stroke play total is the winner. At the season’s end, the player with the most ranking points will be named the season’s Individual Champion.

Team Competition: Over the first two rounds, the best three stroke play scores will count for each team. For the third and final round, all four scores will count. The lowest overall team score after 54 holes is the team winner. The final event of the season is the team championship.

    LIV Golf Miami Course

Designed by Dick Wilson in the early 1960s, the historic Blue Monster opened for play in 1962 and has been earning its name for over sixty years, taming the greats of the game with its endless perils.

The course was lengthened and made more dramatic during a complete redesign by famed golf architect Gil Hanse in 2014.

The redesigned features include a series of strategically placed deep bunkers, long flowing fairways, interesting undulating greens, deep Bermuda rough and a challenging assortment of water hazards. The iconic 18th hole remains one of the most difficult in all of golf.

Doral served as the host course for the PGA Tour’s Doral/Miami stop for 55 seasons, between 1962 and 2016. LIV Golf members Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Patrick Reed are among those who have claimed victory on the Blue Monster, while Bubba Watson is a three-time runner-up at the venue.

Greg Norman, LIV Golf’s commissioner and CEO, won three times at Doral in a seven-year stretch (1990, 1993, 1996).

The 2023 Team Championship was held here and produced a moment of magic that will live long in the memory. Bryson DeChambeau hit a Hail Mary Birdie on the 16th which came from behind the hospitality stand, a pivotal moment as his Crushers GC clinched one of their famous comebacks.
