Adrian Meronk, the 2023 European tour’s player of the year, will reportedly join LIV Golf when the breakaway league begins its new season next week in Mexico.

The Times of London reported Wednesday that Meronk, who won three times on the European tour in 2023, has signed a lucrative deal with LIV Golf and will join Jon Rahm‘s team.

The 30-year-old native of Poland was publicly shocked after Luke Donald snubbed him of a Ryder Cup captain’s selection.

Meronk, who gained membership on the PGA Tour following his MVP season in Europe, was set to make his debut in America at the Farmers Insurance Open this week but withdrew.

In what was his last start on the DP World Tour, Meronk finished runner-up to Rory McIlroy at the Dubai Desert Classic last week.

Information from the Associated Press and The Times of London was used to compile this report.
