MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Brandt Snedeker ended an eight-year victory drought with a clutch final-round performance, firing a 5-under 66 on Sunday to win the 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.

The 45-year-old Tennessee native finished at 18-under 266 for his 10th career PGA Tour title and first since the 2018 Wyndham Championship.

Snedeker, who entered the final round in contention, poured in birdies on the back nine to surge ahead. He overcame a tight battle with Mark Hubbard, who was seeking his first PGA Tour win in his 274th start. Hubbard, tied for the lead late, drove into trouble on the 18th hole, pitched out, and missed a 25-foot par putt that would have forced a playoff.

Snedeker’s one-stroke victory secured the title and earned him a surprise invitation to the upcoming PGA Championship.

The win marked an emotional homecoming of sorts for Snedeker, who has battled injuries and consistency challenges in recent years. After the final putt dropped, the veteran visibly broke down in tears during the trophy presentation and interviews, reflecting on the 2,821 days since his last victory.

“I’m just so pumped,” Snedeker said afterward. In post-round comments, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity and relief at ending the long wait.

The Myrtle Beach Classic, played on the scenic coastal layout, drew strong crowds for the PGA Tour’s visit to the popular golf destination. Snedeker’s steady play and timely birdie streak highlighted a week of solid scoring across the field, with the winner posting rounds that kept him in the mix throughout.

This victory not only boosts Snedeker’s confidence as he heads into the major championship season but also underscores the depth of the PGA Tour, where veterans can still deliver memorable performances.
