The weather for the playing of the 145th Open Championship at Royal Troon in Scotland doesn’t look overly pleasant with rain forecast for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This certainly won’t be the worst championship weather-wise, but it won’t be great either. Thursday appears to be the only nice day of the week, so those who score well early will get a head start on the field. The rest of the week is calling for cool temps in the low 60s, with plenty of wind and rain.
But then again, that’s what makes it The Open.
As locals put it, “nae rain and nae wind then it’s nae golf.”
