Bryson DeChambeau delivered a masterful performance at the inaugural LIV Golf Korea, clinching both the individual and team titles on Sunday at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club. The two-time U.S. Open champion carded a final-round 6-under 66, finishing at 19-under for the tournament to claim his third LIV Golf victory and his first since September 2023.
DeChambeau entered the final round with a four-shot lead but faced a fierce challenge from Crushers GC teammate Charles Howell III, who shot 9-under 63, including five consecutive birdies from holes 11 to 15. The duo was tied with four holes remaining, but DeChambeau’s resilience came through. He notched six birdies on the back nine, highlighted by three gains on the final four holes, to secure a two-stroke victory over Howell, who finished at 17-under.
“That was a lot of tension,” DeChambeau said post-round. “I feel like I’ve been playing some great golf, but I just haven’t gotten the job done. Just glad I was able to step up to the plate and get it done.”

Howell, earning his first LIV podium since 2023, praised DeChambeau’s performance. “I knew today would be a tough day to catch Bryson, but I gave it my best,” he said.
The Crushers GC, led by DeChambeau and Howell, alongside Paul Casey and Anirban Lahiri, dominated the team competition, finishing at 35-under to claim the $3 million team prize with a nine-shot lead over Brooks Koepka’s Smash GC.
“Charles and Bryson won this for us,” Casey admitted. “Our job was to not mess it up.”
Talor Gooch rounded out the individual podium with a 6-under 66, finishing third at 14-under, while Thomas Pieters and Patrick Reed tied for fourth at 10-under.
DeChambeau’s victory, which earned him $4 million from the $25 million purse, marked a significant rebound after recent final-round struggles at LIV events in Miami, Mexico City, and the 2025 Masters. His wire-to-wire lead in Korea showcased his ability to close under pressure, boosting his momentum heading into the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, May 15-18.

“It’s a weird dynamic,” DeChambeau said of competing against teammate Howell, likening it to Formula 1 rivalries. “Charles and I had a great battle out there.”
The event, LIV Golf’s first in South Korea, drew a record-breaking single-day attendance for the league in Asia, with enthusiastic crowds energizing the atmosphere. DeChambeau, who signed thousands of autographs for fans, expressed gratitude for the support. “The Korean fans have been fantastic. It’s why I play the game,” he said.
With this win, DeChambeau moves to second in the LIV Golf season standings, trailing Joaquin Niemann by just over 20 points. As he eyes a third major title, DeChambeau’s performance in Korea signals he’s ready to contend with golf’s elite in two weeks at Quail Hollow.
LIV Golf now takes a month-long break before resuming at LIV Golf DC from June 6-8 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.
