Cameron Champ fired a 9-under par 62 in the second round of the Mayakoba Golf Classic to move into solo second-place behind Matt Kuchar, and afterwards the 23-year old burgeoning star let the golf world know he’s, well, 23 years old.

Said Champ, when asked about his performance, “Honestly, I forgot what par was, to be honest. But like I said, I was just flowing, I just kind of felt in the zone, and I was just trying to execute each shot at a time.

“Today, everything was just on. I think I missed one green, my last hole, so I think if I just kind of focus on that the next two days.”

Which gives new meaning to the PGA Tour’s “Live Under Par” marketing campaign.
