Citing Bad Back, Sam Burns Withdraws From PGA Championship

Sam Burns officially withdrew from the PGA Championship citing a back injury.

Burns, who entered Kiawah Island off a win at the Valspar and runner-up at the Byron Nelson, played his first nine holes at the Ocean Course in 5-over par 41.

His round included three pars, two birdies two bogeys, one double, and one triple.
