After a four-week break, the European Tour is back in action this week in Madrid, Spain for the Open de Espana at Centro Nacional de Golf.
Instead of being greeted with temps in the mid 60s (as is the norm), players were bundled up as if they were playing St Andrews in November.
Madrid has an inland Mediterranean climate, which in the United States would be similar to South Carolina, with winters in the 50s and summers in the 90s. In the video below, you can get a sense of the wind chill factor. Brrrr!
