Bryson DeChambeau shot a bogey-free 6-under 65 on Saturday and shares the lead with Peter Uihlein after 54 holes of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

DeChambeau finished his third day at TPC Summerlin with 12 pars and six birdies, including four gains over his final six holes en route to a three-day score of 16 under.

“Definitely nice to be able to ball strike it as well as I have the past three days,” said DeChambeau, who is seeking his third win in his last five starts.

“Nice to be able to take two weeks — or three, four weeks off. I don’t know how many weeks I was off. It’s nice to not know essentially coming into an event and still be able to perform.

“That’s something I’ll take with me moving forward.”

Uihlein, the overnight leader, posted a 3-under 68, highlighted by birdies on Nos. 13 and 15, to stay atop the leaderboard in Las Vegas.

“I didn’t feel like I hit it probably close enough as I probably could have to feel like, ‘Hey, these are really makable. I didn’t feel like I missed any putts I should have made,” said Uihlein.

“For the most part I feel comfortable with it. I feel like the putter has been very good. Under pressure today it felt great, so definitely pleased with.”

The low round of the day – and tournament, was posted Lucas Glover, who fired a 10-under 61, which included seven birdies and two eagles. The former U.S. Open winner was solo third at 15 under, one clear of defending champion Patrick Cantlay (63) and Robert Streb (68).

Alone in sixth-place was last week’s winner, Cameron Champ, who followed a second-day 65 with a third-round 66 to put himself in the chasing pack at 12 under, just four off the pace.
