Just days after the U.S. Ryder Cup team went on a scouting trip to Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, ahead of the 44th Ryder Cup in Rome, it was Team Europe’s turn to get an early look at this year’s host venue.
While Team USA had nine of 12 make the trip, the European squad had a full representation in Italy.

At the conclusion of Monday’s scouting trip, the Euros will fly to England for the BMW PGA Championship. Next week’s DPWT event is the French Open, followed by the Ryder Cup.
Justin Thomas and Max Homa are the only American Ryder Cuppers playing this week’s PGA Tour fall series opener, the Fortinet Championship. There is no PGA Tour event the following week.
Brooks Koepka, the only LIV Golf player in the Ryder Cup, will tee it up in Chicago next week and take the red eye to Rome.
