Nick Faldo, the six-time major winner, is showing impressive progress just six weeks after undergoing open-heart surgery.

His wife, Lindsay Faldo, shared an uplifting update, revealing that the 68-year-old golf legend is “closing in on the finish line to a full recovery.” She posted the positive message on X alongside a photo, signaling strong momentum in his rehabilitation.

Faldo underwent successful surgery on January 8, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic to repair an enlarged aorta. The procedure was performed by world-renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Lars Svensson. After spending two weeks in the hospital, he returned to his serene ranch in Montana, where he and Lindsay have embraced a quieter life surrounded by nature and their animals.

The 1996 Masters champion, whose iconic victory at Augusta National will mark its 30-year anniversary this spring, is staying optimistic. Lindsay noted that Nick is eager to complete his recovery and hopes to make the trip back to Augusta for the 2026 Masters.

The Englishman, a dominant force in golf with three Masters titles and three Open Championships, has received an outpouring of support from fans and the golf community. His team continues to share occasional updates via social media as he rebuilds strength at the Montana ranch.

Stay tuned for more on Faldo’s journey back to full health.
