Brandt Snedeker posted a final-round 65 at Sedgefield Country Club to claim his ninth PGA Tour title at the Wyndham Championship.
Snedeker, who opened the tournament with a 59, finished his final day in Greensboro with 11 pars, one bogey and six birdies, highlighted by a final-hole gain en route to a 21-under par, good for a three-shot victory.
The Tennessee native earned $1,080,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which moves him from No. 80 all the way up to No. 30 (East Lake).
Snedeker also picked up 34 Official World Golf Rankings points and is expected to move into the top 50 (from 88).
Webb Simpson (63) and C.T. Pan (66) tied for second at 18-under par. Each took home a check for $528,000, along with 245 FedEx points and 18 OWGR points.
