Johnson entered the day tied for the lead at 17 under, but after birdies on the opening two holes, he was alone on top and cruised to a 23-under total.

The South Carolina native finished his final day in Canada with seven birdies, one bogey and 10 pars.

The win earned Johnson $1,116,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which strengthens his grip on the top spot on the money list and points standings ahead of Justin Thomas and Justin Rose.

The 34-year old also picked up 46 Official World Golf Rankings points to extend his position as No. 1.

Koreans Byeong Hun An and Whee Kim posted final-round 69s to finish tied for second at 20-under par.

Each took home a check for $545,600, along with 245 FedEx points and 22 OWGR points.
