Brooks Koepka shot a final-round 74 to claim his fourth major title at the PGA Championship.
The 29-year old Floridian struggled on his final day at Bethpage Black course, carding two birdies against six bogeys, including five in a seven-hole stretch (Nos. 11-17), but survived – aided by a terrific up and down for par on the 18th hole, to finish at 8-under par, two clear of Dustin Johnson (69).
For the win, Koepka earned $1,980,000 and 600 FedExCup points, while also picking up 100 OWGR points. He will move back to No. 1 in the world rankings.
Runner-up DJ earned $1,188,000 along with 330 FedExCup points and 60 OWGR points.
