Keith Mitchell shot a final-round 67 at PGA National to claim victory at The Honda Classic.
Mitchell finished his final day in Palm Gardens, Florida with a card comprised of three bogeys offset by six birdies, highlighted by a final-hole gain, to reach 9-under par, good for a one-shot win over Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler.
It was the 27-year old American’s first career PGA Tour title, and first top-10 of the 2018-19 season. Mitchell earned $1,224,000 and 500 FedExCup points, while also picking up 48 OWGR points to move to No.72 in the world rankings – the first time he’s broken the top 100.
Runners-up Koepka and Fowler each earned $598,400 and 245 FedExCup points, along with 28 OWGR points.
