FootJoy is marking its 75th year anniversary as the leading golf shoe on Tour – and pretty much everywhere else, by issuing 75 pairs of “Limited Edition, Tour-only, commemorative shoes” based around its new Premiere Series lineup.
The name of the exclusive shoe is called the “Peach Cobbler,” as a tie in with the Masters, which is when the winners will be announced and when they’ll be unveiled by FootJoy (via social media).
With the tight restrictions the Masters places on its brand and tournament, FootJoy says the shoes are inspired by the “fruitland nurseries of Georgia,” and to “pay homage to the Peach State’s rich history.”
Whatever, the spin may be. They’re still some nice looking kicks.
Only 20 of the pairs will be available to the public as giveaways. The other 55 will go to Tour pros, among other insiders and brand ambassadors.
