Three of the game’s biggest stars will not be teeing it up this weekend at Riviera Country Club.

Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, and Bryson DeChambeau are all expected to miss the cut at the Genesis Invitational.

Thomas posted rounds of 77 and 73 to finish his 36 holes in Pacific Palisades at 8-over par, while McIlroy opened 73-76 to end at 7 over.

DeChambeau shot a second-round 69 but it was not enough to overcome a first-day 75. The reigning U.S. Open champ was 2-over par 144. The cut line is expected to be even-par 142.

McIlroy, who had a streak of 25 cuts-made entering this week, last missed a cut in his native Northern Ireland at the 2019 Open Championship.

Thomas, meanwhile, entered the tournament as a top betting favorite, and had not finished outside the top 13 all season. But the world No. 3 got off to a horrendous start on Thursday, carding three double bogeys over a 10-hole stretch, and never recovered. JT finished his two rounds at Riviera with four doubles, six bogeys, and just six birdies.
