World No. 1 Jin Young Ko continued her winning ways on Sunday, posting a final-round 66 to claim a two-stroke victory at the 2022 HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore.
Ko finished her final day at the famed New Tanjong Course with one bogey against seven birdies, highlighted by five on her final six holes (Nos. 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18) to reach 17-under par.
It was Ko’s sixth win in her last 10 LPGA Tour starts and sets two new benchmarks in the record books: 15 consecutive rounds in the 60s, and 30 consecutive rounds under par.
“I am just proud of myself to record 60s, 15 rounds like straight. So I’m so happy,” said Ko. “I feel amazing right now.”
Minjee Lee, who shot a tournament-low 9-under 63, finished tied for second on 15 under, alongside In Gee Chun (69).
Geonjeun Lee6 (69) made double bogey on the 18th hole to drop into a tie for fourth with Atthaya Thitikul (67) on 14 under.
Hannah Green (66), Brooke Henderson (67) and Amy Yang (68) tied for sixth on 13 under.
