A highly anticipated tournament like the U.S. Open calls for new and stylish duds.

President Donald J. Trump spent the first day of his Thanksgiving break hitting the links at his Mar-a-Lago golf club with golfing great Jack Nicklaus.

White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham noted that the president was playing a round on Wednesday with 18-time major winner, along with Nicklaus’s son Gary, and grandson G.T.

Gary is also a former PGA Tour player who now works with Nicklaus Companies, while G.T. – Gary’s son, made headlines earlier this year when he aced the final hole at Augusta National during the Par-3 Contest.

The trip is Trump’s first of the season to his private golf club, where he typically spends Thanksgiving, Christmas and many winter weekends.

The president’s trips include frequent visits to his nearby golf courses, where he played last year with the Nicklauses as well as with Dustin Johnson and Tiger Woods.
