With the first major out of the way, it’s back to the weekly grind of regular Tour events. On tap first is the 50th edition of the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links.

The field teeing it up this year on Hilton Head includes 10 of the top-30 ranked players, headlined by world No. 1 Dustin Johnson, and recent Valspar winner Paul Casey.

DJ, at 8-1, is the clear odds-on favorite. He’s followed by Casey at 12-1 and Matt Kuchar at 16-1. No one else in the field has odds of 20-1 or better.

Webb Wimpson and Marc Leishman, who both played good in spurts at the Masters, are listed at 25-1, while young Australian Cameron Smith is offered at 28-1.

THREE BETS

Kevin Kisner (Win: 33-1): A home course event for the South Carolina native, Kisner lost in a Heritage playoff in 2015 to tournament career-earnings leader Jim Furyk, and finished T11 last year, largely off the strength of a sizzling Friday 64. His results have been underwhelming in 2018, but his best outing came very recently, a runner-up finish at the WGC-Match Play. Consistently one of the best on Tour in driving accuracy, Kisner hits a lot of fairways, and when his iron game is clicking, he also makes a lot of putts, currently ranking 8th on Tour in strokes gained: putting. BET 1: We’re putting $100 down on Kiz to win $330.

Luke Donald (Prop: Top 5, 80-1): The former world No. 1, which feels like forever ago now, has been abysmal this season, missing five of eight cuts and not finishing higher than T32 anywhere. On any other course, in any other event, we would not even be considering the reeling Englishman, but this is Harbour Town, where Donald has an almost-impossible five runner-ups along with two other third place finishes in nine starts. He loves this course, to put it lightly, although he has to be sick of being the bridesmaid. BET 2: We’re taking Donald for a top-5 finish at $100 to win $800.

Adam Hadwin (Prop: Top Canadian, -150) The notoriously streaky Hadwin has been the good version of himself lately, posting finishes of T6, T9. T12. T17, and T24 in his last five events, respectively. That T24 was last week at The Masters, where Hadwin got off to a hot start with a round one 3-under 69, before a difficult second round took him largely out of contention, although he still played his weekend under par. Hadwin is exceptionally accurate and has tremendous touch around the greens, two traits that should give him an excellent chance at career victory No. 2 this week. BET 3: We’re taking Hadwin for $150 to win $100 against fellow Canucks Corey Conners (+300), Nick Taylor (+700), Mackenzie Hughes (+1000), and David Hearn (+1000).
