Pornanong Phatlum shot a 3-under 69 on Saturday to maintain a one-shot lead after 54 holes of the Ricoh Women’s British Open.
The 28-year-old Thai finished her third day at Royal Lytham & St Annes with one bogey offset by four birdies to reach 13-under par, one shot clear of hometown favorite Georgia Hall.
“Today, still nervous right now, and yeah, I just try to play on my best, and I played very solid round today,” said Phatlum.
As they were on Saturday, Phatlum and Hall will be paired together in Sunday’s final group.
Korea’s So Yeon Ryu shot a joint low-round 5-under 67, to move to solo third at 11-under par. Sung Hyun Park (69), Mamiko Higa (71) and Minjee Lee (71) were next at 10 under.
