Rory McIlroy celebrated his 32nd birthday yesterday. As a tribute to golfer who claimed four majors by the age of 25, the PGA Tour posted a slide-show of the Northern Irishman through the years with the caption: “From blonde highlights to golf highlights. Happy birthday, Rory McIlroy.”
In one particular photo, McIlroy is said to “look like someone’s grandma.”
Another commenter said he looked like a “70-year old woman,” while another replied, “You mean like Margaret Thatcher?”
I think it’s more a case of Rory going through some awkward growing pains during this stage of his life. As one female commenter noted, “The early 2000s was a tough time for Rory.”
