Lee Westwood shot a final-round 64 to win the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Gary Player Country Club in Sun City, South Africa – his first win in over four years.
His girlfriend Helen Storey was on the bag for only the second time this season, and Westwood noted afterwards that she’s become something of a good luck charm as her other work resulted in a runner-up finish (easily his two best finishes of 2018).
“It’s been brilliant. She’s caddied twice for me this year and we lost in a playoff in Denmark and we’ve won here,” said Westwood.
“Have to have a bit of a rethink, not least about who caddies for me, but our percentages.”
