WYNTK: Mizuno Pro Series Irons
Japanese club maker Mizuno Golf, long known for the outstanding performance of its irons has renamed the MP lineup to Mizuno Pro, the name it has been in Asia, and introduced three new family members for use by a range of players from professionals to better players wanting a little help to those needing more help as in game-improvement.
“The concept of Mizuno Pro can be misunderstood – we’re not trying to design instant classics or works of art. Mizuno just hides technology incredibly well. This could be perceived as the ultimate betrayal of Mizuno Pro. But the true essence has always been to make history – not be stuck in it,” says Chris Voshall, Product Manager, Mizuno Golf.
The Pro 223 is somewhat of a first for the company as the players-distance design with a much smaller head and address profile and a slot behind the face.
