As it does each year, the Sentry Tournament of Champions will officially launch the PGA Tour’s 2019 season.
Dustin Johnson will attempt a defend of his title at Kapalua’s Plantation Course against a field that is comprised of 34 winners from the 2018 season, including 13 of the top-20 ranked players in the world.
For the opening two rounds, world No. 3 Johnson will be paired with Bryson DeChambeau (No. 5), forming the only pairing comprised of top-10 ranked players.
Some of the other top pairings include No. 6 Jon Rahm and Masters champ Patrick Reed (No. 15); No. 8 Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele (No. 11); and British Open champ Francesco Molinari (No. 7) and No. 11 Jason Day.
World No. 1 Brooks Koepka will be paired with Keegan Bradley (No. 30), while world No. 4 Justin Thomas will join Billy Horschel (No. 36).
