Ask yourself: is the United States still a free country? Not when we have a segment of society called woke communists whose only goal is to censor and cancel any kind of traditional voice.

And it’s certainly not a free country when a radio host can be fired for saying he’s not a fan of the WNBA.

Mark Lye, a former PGA Tour pro, who won the now defunct Bank of Boston Classic in 1983, was a host on SiriusXM’s PGA Tour Radio, with a show called The Scorecard.

On Saturday’s show, Lye joked, “Please, don’t take it the wrong way — but I saw some highlights of ladies’ basketball. Man, is there a gun in the house? I’d rather shoot myself than watch that.”

Lye was fired the next day.

Imagine if a former WNBA player hosted a radio show, and said, “I’d rather shoot myself than watch golf on TV.”

Would she be fired? Of course not.

Lye explained on Twitter: “The fact that I can’t relate to WNBA does not make me sexist in any way. All you haters should listen to the whole segment, where I completely glorified womens golf, which I love to cover. Thanks for listening.”
