SkySafe has renewed its partnership with the Farmers Insurance Open to provide drone detection and airspace security for the 2025 PGA Tour event at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California.

This collaboration aims to ensure comprehensive protection for players, staff, spectators, and sponsors by monitoring and responding to unauthorized drone activity.

“The safety of our players, fans, and sponsors is our top priority,” Andrew Harmatys, COO for the Century Club of San Diego, which manages the event, said in a statement.

“We’re proud to be among the leaders embracing drone detection technology to enhance safety at our tournament. SkySafe’s solution has been a valuable addition to our event.”

The two golf courses at Torrey Pines (South & North) offer some of the most stunning photographic views of the Pacific Ocean’s coastline.

SkySafe’s technology allows for real-time visibility into potential aerial threats, enabling rapid responses to any unauthorized drone activity during the tournament, which is scheduled from January 22-25, 2025.
