Slideshow: Eddie Pepperell Battles the Heather at Walton Heath

0

After shooting a 3-under par in the second round, Eddie Pepperell leads the Sky Sports British Masters by three shots at Walton Heath Golf Club.

While he’s on the top of the 36-hole leaderboard, it wasn’t all easy on Friday for the Englishman. On the par-5 second hole, his tee shot landed in the deep heather, which caused him to lose his club while hitting his second shot (captured magnificently by photographer David Cannon in the photos below).

Pepperell would recover to save par, and go on to birdie the next hole en route to a 69 and a two-day score of 8-under par.
