Want to bask in the afterglow of this month’s PGA Championship here at Kiawah Island Golf Resort near Charleston, South Carolina?

The resort is now accepting guest reservations for the highly anticipated The Cottages at The Ocean Course. The cottages will open June 17 and give guests a fully immersive bucket list golfing experience at the iconic Pete Dye-designed course.

Located beside the clubhouse, the four two-story, four-bedroom cottages have sweeping views across the driving range, with the Atlantic Ocean serving as a backdrop. Built in a cedar shake design evoking the spirit of early 20th century homes dotting the Eastern Seaboard, each 3,800-square-foot cottage – designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects – complements the firm’s earlier clubhouse that presides within a walk from the cottages.

Each cottage features four en suite bedrooms – two upstairs and two downstairs – anchored by a common living area comprised of an open-plan living room and kitchenette with a bar.

Guests will have porches upstairs and downstairs to take in ocean breezes and survey one of Dye’s more acclaimed layouts.

Reservations will include daily rounds of golf, daily breakfast, daily dedicated housekeeping and a welcome amenity unique to the cottages. A dedicated concierge will assist cottage guests in making necessary arrangements prior to arrival, including tee times, airport transport, private dining experiences and other resort recreational activities.

Spring and fall rates range from $3,437 to $4,237 per cottage per night, and in the summer and winter from $2,269 to $2,669 per cottage per night, plus tax and resort fees.
