The Farmers Insurance Open, the 12th stop on the 46-tournament PGA Tour season, gets underway on Thursday from Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
Two-time winner Jason Day will attempt to defend his 2018 title against a field that is comprised of 11 of the 17 top-ranked players in the world, headlined by seven-time winner Tiger Woods, and world No. 1 Justin Rose.
For the opening two rounds, Day will be paired with two other recent Farmers’ winners in Jon Rahm (2017) and Brandt Snedeker (2016). The trio will start out with a 9:30 am tee time on the North Course from tee No. 10.
Woods will be tee off with Xander Schauffele and Tony Finau for the first two days, while Rose will be joined by Billy Horschel and Jordan Spieth.
