As reported last month, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be teeing it up in Las Vegas over the Thanksgiving weekend. Today the specifics of the event became somewhat clearer, as both Woods and Mickelson took to Twitter to promote the high-stakes match.
I bet you think this is the easiest $9M you will ever make?

The format will be match play, contested at Shadow Creek Golf Course on Nov. 23, 2018 (Thanksgiving Friday) with a total purse of $9 million.
The format reportedly would also allow for various in-game prop bets between the two stars, such as longest drive and closest to the pin.
Turner Sports will produce the event with the broadcast available via pay-per-view. No prices were available.
The Westgate Superbook of Las Vegas has Woods as the favorite to win at -180 with Mickelson at +150.
“It’s an opportunity for us to bring golf to the masses in prime time during a period where we don’t have much going on in the world of golf,” Mickelson said on Wednesday at Ridgewood Country Club ahead of The Northern Trust Open.
“It’s a way to show a side you don’t normally see by having us miked up to hear some of the interaction between us.”
