Martin Kaymer is making a habit of green-side chip-in gains. The latest occurred in the opening round of the Open de France at Le Golf National, where the two-time major winner dropped a hole-out birdie from the rough on the par-3 2nd hole.

Kaymer got to even par with his chip-in gain, but the German star lost his round with a triple-bogey-7 on the par-4 4th hole, followed by three-straight bogeys on Nos. 5-7 en route to a 6-over 77.
