In this episode of Pro Golf Weekly's Video Update, we highlight the following three PGA Tour stories.

Peter Uihlein shot a 5-under 66 on Friday and will take a two-shot led into the weekend at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Uihlein, who held his first PGA Tour after round one, finished his second day at TPC Summerlin with one bogey against six birdies, highlighted by five gains in a seven-hole stretch on Nos. 12, 13, 14, 16, and 18 en route to the 36-hole lead at 13 under.

“I just like it,” said Uihlein, when asked what he likes about the course. “There’s a lot of holes that set up well for me. A lot of just good sightlines with some good bunker placements.

“My distance control with my irons has been very good this week, so I’ve been able to have a kind of more stress-free two days.”

Following a 6-under 65, Whee Kim was two back at 11 under, alongside Robert Streb (66).

One further back were Abraham Ancer and Bryson DeChambeau, who posted matching 65s to join Harold Varner III (67) at 10 under, one clear of Kevin Tway (66).

Cameron Champ, last week’s winner in Mississippi, shot a 65 to reach 8 under, alongside Jordan Spieth (68) and Danny Lee (66).
