In the third round of the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational, Bryson DeChambeau becomes the first player to carry the water on the par-5 6th hole at Bay Hill. DeChambeau’s tee shot was measured at 370 yards, landing just 70 yards from the hole.

He would go on to make birdie and secure a share of the lead alongside Jordan Spieth, who himself had a day filled with highlight-reel shots.

On Friday, DeChambeau told the media he would attempt the tee shot if the wind was at least 10 mph.

“If it’s 10 miles an hour downwind I’ll for sure go for it,” said DeChambeau.

“Not necessarily the green, per se, but like I’ll be 30, 40 yards right of that, try and go in that little area, about at that bunker, it’s about 30 putt, 40 yards short of the green. So that will be the area.
